Counselling for Returning Clients

I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC #18553) with a Master of Counselling Psychology degree from Athabasca University. I believe that every individual is inherently valuable and capable of growth, healing, and hope. It is my privilege to walk alongside you in your journey toward deeper self-understanding, healing, and lasting change.

I approach counselling from the belief that everyone can benefit from support at various stages of life. Whether you’re navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, anxiety, depression, or the complexities of trauma, the process of counselling can help bring clarity and relief. While life can be rich and rewarding, it can also feel overwhelming, frightening, and difficult to manage at times. It’s in these moments, when you may feel stuck or unsure, that therapy can provide tools, insight, and compassionate support.

I integrate both brain and body-based approaches in my work. Understanding the emotional and mental patterns behind our behaviours is key to making meaningful change, but so is working to regulate our nervous systems and retrain our responses to stress and trauma. I’ve found that holistic healing—attending to both the mind and the body—leads to more sustainable results.

I have specialized training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a powerful and effective modality that helps individuals process past trauma and experiences in a new, more adaptive way. ART has been particularly beneficial for those dealing with anxiety, trauma, and PTSD, and I find it especially effective when working with neurodivergent individuals. I enjoy adapting my approach to suit each person’s unique brain and needs, providing the flexibility and individualized care that fosters healing.
